the Nursing Bored Exam!

Indeed, after months of waiting, the results for the 2011 December NLE exams has been released! Was supposed to take together with this group but due to some inevitable circumstances, I wasnt able to.. I am so proud of my batchmates! especially my school! Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan, once again proved to be a leader in nursing education. With 370 examinees, 350 passed with a high rating of 94.59% which placed it on the 7th spot for top performing nursing schools. Well, in the 21 years of history of Xavier, this has been the lowest so far.

To add up to the prestige, 10 topnotchers came from XU with my friend Linsid Angelou Tapongot placing 2nd! Couldnt be more proud. The sad part though was the fact that some of my friends werent able to pass the exam. Prolly because of the trauma they had with Sendong striking on the very day of the exam. That or whatever the reason was, its not the end of the world. Good thing though they can retake and they will be given more chances to pass.

Well, Ill be taking on July! Wish me luck :3

RAN(dom)T(hought)S

It doesnt take a psychologist to deduce the fact that people are naturally good third person advisers. But when it comes to your own dilemmas, we tend to negate or neglect what we try to convey to our peers.

Sometimes we feel it is best to have a self-induced deafening technique just to get by with the recurring rants and whines of people that continuously makes a fool out of themselves by habitually comitting the same mistakes over and over again. We suggest remedies that are already in front of them but just too naive to even notice it unless you slap it right through their faces and just too stubborn to even consider doing it. Its annoying actually how they come over to you and they just hear what you have to say but they dont listen to your advices.

But what I failed to realize is the fact that we all came to that point. To the point wherein we knew what was right and we knew what to do but we were too afraid to risk and to know what the outcomes will  be. We were just too emotionally attached with the situation that we only care "what is" and failed to consider "what ought to be" or "what should be". That from our perspective it is never stubbornness to hope. that it is never naivety to give chances. and that it is never wrong to sacrifice.

How I wish we can all live in a state of oblivion wherein we can easily forget what hurts us in just a snap of a finger. In a world where misery can never be a problem. In a world wherein we just have to sleep off all our problems and we dont have to feel bad the following day. That we can move on anytime we want to. that we dont have to depend on the advices of other people because there was an easy way out to all our problems. Thats the panacea we are all wishing for. But, reality bites. and it bites really hard. It doesnt exist. It will never exist.

PUPPY LOVE

T. Swift once said, and I quote "When youre 15 and somebody told you they love you you gotta believe them." I remember I had my 2nd girlfriend when I was 15. I did try to get it on with her but good thing she didnt agree coz now she has 2 kids already and not even married. Then I lost my virginity the year after.

Anywaaaays, not exactly the point. I have a nephew aged 15 and he messaged me one day.

Honestly, I just met this kid last year. They live in Australia but he doesnt have any siblings. Thats prolly why he messaged me coz he doesnt have a big brother that he can talk to. So I grabbed the chance to be close to him. and here comes Valentines day. He asked me on what he can give to this girl he met in the Philippines during their vacation. and so I suggested that he record a video and Ill edit it coz he doesnt know anything about video editing, like literally. He doesnt even know how to record a video. Well, anyways here are the results:

I edited it in 2 hours. Now he gave me his facebook name/password so that I can upload it directly to the girl she likes. And so I waited for the girl's reaction. She was like "Yea. Its cute". I was like, what?! thats her only reaction? If I was a girl, Id fall head over heels over this kid. He plays professional football (In fact, he might get a scholarship in England for it), Hes on top of his class, you can see on the video he looks good, he's good natured. Overall package. In short, mana sa tito! except for the perverted part of this kid. HAHA.

Speaking of valentines gift. Heres my valentines gift for myself:

3 stitches on my right thumb. I accidentally cut myself with an ampule then it opened like my thumb was about to fall. now I cant play with myself for days.. or even weeks!! HAHA. kidding. I cant even type fast. I tried driving my motorcycle and it stings like hell so yeah cant do anything much over the next few days. Wala na ngang valentines date, may sugat pa. Oh yeah! Toodles.

Adel Tamano in the Deep!

Adele received 6 Grammys and now holds the record with Beyoncé for the most Grammys received in one night! Congratulations Adele! :))

Would be nice if he'll sing Rolling in the Deep on his next campaign when he runs for senator on 2013! Kidding aside, when he ran for senator on the 2010 elections, I hated the fact that he was a frontrunner in Manny Villar's senatorial's slate. Ive always seen him as someone that can be bought by Manny, i mean, money. But my respect for him skyrocketed when Ive watched him during the first few days of the Corona Trial on ANC. The guy knows what he is talking about. So much more for being a lawyer, Ive learned to appreciate him as someone who thinks before he speaks. and he speaks, with much essence. Will consider voting for him on the next elections!

The real Grammy award winning Adele, however, is actually quite comparable to Tamano. If Adel speaks with essence, Adele sings with essence. She's one of the few singers I've come to love not because of the way they sing but the substance that they try to convey to the listeners and of course, the emotions attached on how they deliver it. Kudos, Adele. Well deserved win for Grammy 2012.

ME BACK!

Been away from the blogosphere for too long. I dont even know if my blogosfriends still knows me. I still hope they do. Will blog hop later to check on how they are doing. Im pretty sure most of them has already been successful with whatever they have been doing over the past 2 years be it in or out of the blogosphere.

Why did I leave?
1. Wordpress. Well, the main reason was the fact that it was very hard to establish your name in the blogosphere. It took a lot for me to reach at least 50 comments per post. then, i dont know, for some reason, Wordpress deleted my account. I didnt even know what I did! Geez.

2. School. Last October, I finally graduated after 5 long years in College. Why 5 Years? thanks to my very early teachers and my super diligent classmates, I was left behind. That was also the time that I was really active in the blogosphere. I dont blame blogging but I cant help but check on it every 5 minutes and post even when Im having a class!

3. Lovelife. To cut the long story short, right after my account was deactivated, I met someone, fell in love then my heart was broken, took time for me to move on, then she started dating 3 other guys!!! and to top it all, just a week right after we broke up!! THE NERVE OF THAT GIRL!!! ohh sorry. i got carried away. ahem.

4. Facebook. The primary reason why I started blogging was the fact that Ive always had discreet thoughts about a lot of things. Random things per se. Things that I cannot readily share to my friends. Not because they are too dumb to understand but because we have different inclinations. thats why, when I was introduced to the beautiful world of Facebook Notes, wherein I can easily tag people, I decided to share my thoughts their. But then I noticed, even on Facebook, my friends still doesnt care about what I think and feel. haha

5. I was also trying to avoid someone on the blogosphere. My virtual ex, actually.

Well, anyways, YOUTHanasia days are over! EDZtacy is here! :) Im not even sure if Im here to stay but I would love to be connected to the people I came to know in the blogosphere. coz its hard to find people who shares the same wavelength as you do.. who understands and actually cares about what you think and what you feel.
